So during this slow time I thought it might be fun and entertaining to swap our "first time" AMP stories--how did you get into this hobby? Even though my "first time" was over 10 years ago, I still remember it quite vividly--I'm curious about whether others remember their first session in similar detail (it's weird--I remember my first very well but could not tell you where I went for my second). I struggled with whether to start this thread here or in the Private section--I opted for here because it seems like a lot of guys are losing private access with all of the spas closed so this seemed like the better option, but if there's a strong consensus that this should be in Private I will consider re-starting it there. Just use your discretion when posting your story here, especially if it's a place that's still open (or at least was until the widespread shutdown).
Here's my origin story: After many months of fantasizing about a session and reading reviews on SpaHunters and other sites, I decided to take the plunge during late Spring of 2009. I paid a late afternoon walk-in visit to a place called Pine Arbor Spa in the Garment District near my office at the time. I drew a girl named Bonnie, who was an attractive, tall Asian woman. I told her honestly that this was my first session ever and she was very kind to me, asking me several times what kind of pressure I wanted and checking in often to make sure I was okay. Bonnie gave me a very good, relaxing massage, during which I was wrestling with internal conflict as to whether I would push for or accept a HE or any "extras" at the end of the massage (paying for this was something I never expected to do at the time, so it was difficult for me to make that start). At one point she stopped the massage and what I heard her ask was "Do you want a shoulder massage?" My shoulders had been sore lately so I said "sure," still internally deciding whether I was going to ask her for a HE at the end. Well, I now know that she had asked me if I wanted a SOFT massage, and we all know what that means... she teased my back, breathed sensually into my ear (a HUGE turn-on for me), and by the time she had me flip I was hard as a rock and couldn't have said no to her even if I had decided to. Bonnie was very skilled with her hands and gave me an excellent finish, cleaned me up, and sent me on my way. After that I was pretty much hooked and started visiting basically every non-FS place in Midtown, and the rest is history.
