Let me start things off, 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass two-door hardtop. My high-school girlfriend looked a lot like Kelly Bundy from the TV show. I remember going to Atco speedway on Friday nights and parking way out by the finish line. It was kind of a inspiration point if you will. A lot of fun was had in that car in the back seat. Ah the memories

1975 Toyota Celica. It was mid April and I took the all season radial tires off and threw a set of slick 50's on. Few days later 2 foot blizzard hit. I decided to go to the local speed shop about 10 miles away when the wind started to blow. Blew 3-4 foot snow drifts on every road back home. Took me 5 hours and several tries to find a passable road.

'67 Camaro convertible - front half '68, back half '67 from factory at end of '67 model year. I restored it in 1990 and it was my pride and joy. First wife ended up with it in the divorce, I kept my pension. The car is gone now but I cash the check every month. Still loved that thing. I do imagine that if I had not fucked my girlfriend in the back seat I may still have the car (and the wife).

1976 Eldorado convertible was my first car. This isnt mine in the pic but is the same color combo. There are plenty of mint low mileage examples available since there was a big deal made about it's being the last cadillac and also american made convertible before they stopped production. They were purchased and stored away as collectors items. I am contemplating buying another when I retire which may be very soon with all that's going on.

'57 Chevy Belair, 2 door. Fell in love with the '57s when I saw my first magazine ad. I was 10 yrs old and had to wait until I was out of HS to buy it. Made the mistake of pulling the heads and cleaning things up. It became a cropduster after that. I had to keep a case of oil in the trunk just to get to work and back. Couldn't afford to rebuild the engine so I had to let it go.

68 Chevy impala SS with a 327 small block and 4 barrel Carter aluminum carb. Bright green, slat back with black vinyl roof.

Bought it for $75 in ‘80, rebuilt the engine, changed the front suspension and put a set of headers on it.

All in cost me $500 and lasted 3 years. Sold it for $1,200 when I went to OTS.

I know about that "what do I do with this extra carpet" thing. I had some blue plush left from a living room job. Put it in a '76 Mercury.
I had a '66 impala SS. Great car, had it painted Duster lime green. Must have been the drugs.
Mine was the same color as the Impala in the picture.

Don't even know what to call it. Light Purple?

I remember the 283 in mine. I assume V8 rather than Straight 6? My old Camaro had a straight 6. About the weakest thing going.
V8. I always thought that it was the trans and possibly rear gearing that held it back. The 2 barrel carb didn't help either but that would have been an easy fix.
