I have an appointment to see Yu-na at 9vip this afternoon. Rang the bell and MMS checked my temp twice, 1 on the forehead and on the wrist. She then said you cannot come in, you have a fever. I told her thats impossible I don't feel like i got it. Anybody here got the same experience at 9vip?

The thermometer doesn't take into account whether or not you feel like you have a fever. Accuracy aside, if the reading's high, it's high. Because of the nature of infrared thermometers, you have to consider what external factors may have influenced the reading like you having exerted yourself before entry into the spa or it being hot outside. ED meds may also raise your temperature.

What was your temperature? Some businesses turn people away for a temperature under 100 which is a joke because as a medical professional i can tell you that if it’s not above 100 than it could merely be from a hot summer day. If it was high though then yes they should refuse you. Just take your temp at home and as long as your not sick and it’s back to normal try again or go somewhere else.

I took a blue pill an hour before my appointment. I didn't know that Edmed raises body temp. I wonder if Tylenol will help lower it. She showed me readings and it was 99.5. I checked my temp when i got home and it was 99.1.

Depending on the dosage you may want to cut that blue pill in half

AFAIK blue pill only raises your skin temperature, not your body temperature.

I don't want to come off as being hard on the OP, but the process followed by the MMS is the exact one the CDC recommended and smalls acts like this is what brought Philly to dropping ALL pandemic restrictions as of today. She is a hero, just like so many other unsung people doing their part.

Today the indoor mask mandate in Philly is over, along will the rest of the Covid restrictions. So is 9 VIP going to continue to require masks? Are they just going to require masks going forward to stop the spread of germs?

Unless they can verify that you've actually been vaccinated, it will be to stop the spread of the virus.
