oh boy another guy who thinks the world is a free market of rational actors and has never heard of price hysteresis

once you've been paid $300/hour for demeaning work, it's an insult to accept any less. Girls don't lower their prices, they retire.

The work itself isn't demeaning. At worst, it's like any customer service job; they should be respected for their patience at dealing with people's bullshit at the very least. At best, it's a noble calling to provide mental and physical support to those who need it (like elder care, special needs care, or therapist).

As expected, the fake concern for people's time has arrived :)

Why are you concerned with other people having time to write and respond to posts on here?

Were you as concerned when there were posts defending orgs/providers tactics or price hikes? Wait, no, you did it yourself and put down mongers looks in the process.

When someone tries to tell us mongers shouldn't complain and just "take it or leave it", while trying to justify it with bad economics concept, it is natural that fallacious logic should be corrected.

I personally happen to value mongers rights a lot, so to me writing about them in depth on every public forum is of utmost importance. An extra post or two takes a couple of minutes to write, aint a biggie.

Hell, booker Dan has an essay about economics on GFEI page and no one is concerned about his time. But I get it, double standards run rampant here.

But do you really, in all BS aside, do you really think by all the complaining, it will result in lower prices? No, emphatically not. It's a free enterprise.
I was glad that Disneyland raised their prices, kept the riff raff out. I use that same concept with mongering.
But, complaining about higher prices for women selling their bodies seems unproductive.

When is the last time price went down?
Answer: around 2009-2012 timeframe.
Many c-org reduce price from 160 to 140.
Small number of k-org from 200 to 180.
RB escorts from 250-220 down to 200. From 300 to 250.
Those are the golden era.

No, I don't.

However, this a forum read by many providers and orgs. As such, this is an outlet where regular, non-VIP mongers can express their dissatisfaction with prices that will be read and met with less pushback because of anonymity.

Just like on other forums, consumers could express their frustration with gas prices rising. Will them expressing their frustration change much? Not likely. But having that right as a consumer is important.

I'm merely defending mongers rights to express dissatisfaction, as well as pointing out shortcomings when someone tries to erroneously convey economic reasoning for price changes.

As far as something being unproductive, I'd say most of stuff posted in the forum is unproductive if you look at it from productivity point of view. Unless it's an org or org shill or a girl reading her feedback, time spent on forum likely isn't contributing to you making money. It's OK. It's a hobby for a reason.

Also, I guess we disagree rather harshly about mongers. I don't view myself as better than any other monger. I believe all mongers are equal and should be treated equally well. I like info being accessible to all mongers regardless of their status.

I don't believe in "weeding out" or pricing out or gentrification ever being a good thing for any venture, entity or business in terms of long-term health.

But that's kinda offtopic at this point, lol

What did I win? Lol.

Seriously tho, I'm an argumentative fuck. It is what it is. The only way I'd win is that if at least one monger felt safer to complain about things publicly after reading this thread. Or at least one monger who stopped treating this as "they can charge what they want because that's how economics works" upon reading the thread.

I sincerely do hope this was the case.
