What’s the strip club scene like nowadays?

Sorry for the old story, but it's my one good strip club story. Went to visit my friend when he was in the navy and stationed in Pensacola back in the 90s. He and his buddies took me to a 'bottle club' which is a strip joint where you bring your own beer. I had a hundred bucks in my pocket but I had never been to a strip club before so I watched the sailors spend all their money until they were good and drunk and getting lap snuggle time with the dancers. I had this handmade tye-die t-shirt on and one of the dancers, this short blonde girl with a huge rack and booty, said she really liked it, so I took it off and gave it to her. She thought that was really cool and sat in my lap and ground a hardon out of me while pinching my nipples. After she got up I was kinda dizzy, and I just pulled the wad out 20s out of my pocket and gave it to her and said thank you, then got up to go outside and get a spare shirt out of my car. No - I have not been there in years. When I did there were some very young, very pretty white girls dancing there. Rules were very relaxed. Today I understand the talent pool has changed.

I still hit a few clubs semi-regularly. Cheers Philly & NJ, Oasis occasionally, Risqué Philly, and once in a while I venture to the hinterlands to Just Enuff in KOP, and Double Visions by the old Willow Grove airbase. Each place has its pros and cons.
Some of my takeaways are
Sit and have a few drinks with the girl first. Start a tab. Go when there is a happy hour or drink special night if you’re cost conscious. Start with a regular dance and move to VIP if things heat up. I’ve gotten more fun in the regular dance areas if the chemistry is right. I think the ‘get to know me’ phase at the bar is what dictates the level of action you’re going to see in the back. I also prefer dancers who are older. Mid 30s on up. They’re usually in solid shape and easy to relate to.
One other thing- clubs are THE best place to explore any kinky stuff you might like. From a particular outfit on a girl, her hairstyle, the amount of ink you prefer, foot play, to that level of sensuality you can’t get elsewhere. Just let the girl know what you’re into. You’d be surprised how your interests align with theirs (especially if you’re about to pay $$ for it. Lol ) I have as many great and not-so-great stories from clubs than I can shake a stick at. But yes, it’s like comparing apples and oranges when thinking AMP outcomes are on par with dances/VIP at a club. Sometimes I like getting a wash down, lube, oil and filter. AMPs the way to go. There’s one strip club next to Target in Philly that I go to with my friends. I went here two weeks ago. Most of the girls are cool and locals. A few years ago, most of them were Eastern European.
