Are personal belongings safe at amps?

Whenever I visit, usually after work, I leave my wallet, extra cash, watch etc locked up at work concerned that they might go missing when left in the amp rooms when I’m not there. Do you do the same or am I just worried over nothing?

Places I go to are decent environments. I never had an issue with anything missing. But my stuff not worth too much.
If leaving wallet somewhere else, I would definitely bring ID. If there is a police issue, having ID means they can check you out and you can probably leave then and there. Rather then them not knowing who you are, bring you down to station and you calling someone to bring your ID

First of all, leave watch, wallet, extra cash in the car. That said, I’ve never had an issue and often leave out my tip $ before going to the shower. Once I left a watch, no problem, they saved it for my next visit. But, some more shady places you should be careful.

If i drive, i leave everything in the car, and only the cash and my phone with me.

If i uber, same thing, i leave everything at home and only the cash and phone with me.

I've had a girl go through my stuff before at a NYC spa. It was my first time there though and i did bring my friend with me who looked "suspicious". So i get why she did it. I wasn't happy though. I had 600 bucks with me that night. But none was stolen.

I’m not driving when I go to amps. Either taking the subway or walking if it’s close enough to work so my stuff would come have to come with me. I guess I’m not overthinking it, better safe than sorry. I asked because sometimes I need my stuff afterwards and it’s inconvenient to go back to the work place.

This issue has been discussed forever. I use to leave my valuables in the car, but I was more nervous leaving it there in my locked car parked on the street in the city rather than bringing it with me. In addition, are parking lots in the burbs any safer?

I have never had a problem, remember the spas are all about repeat business. They are not going to steal your things.

I was thinking of getting a locking wallet. They have a 3 digit combo lock. If you have the cash you plan on using in one pocket, you can keep the wallet with you in another pocket out of sight. No one has to know about it to take offense or whatever, and you can have piece of mind that your identity is not revealed.

I used to worry about this. But ive been doing this thing since the mid 90s, probably pushing 1000 times, and never had a problem. So, no more worries.

On the other hand, I've had stuff taken at the gym.

At this point I'm more worried about forgetting something and having to wait for another session to finish to get it back.

At the former Yeppi spa I left my wallet in the room, and later that day my credit card was used to buy a bunch of stuff.
My cash was not touched.
So since that time, many years ago, I always take my wallet with me to the TS. I put it in the robe pocket.
If it is the first time with the girl I tell them I always do it, and nobody has taken offense yet. Many places have a plastic bag they can put it in so it won't get wet.
I leave my bag with all my other shit in the room.
I don't really care if they find out who I am, I just don't want them taking my money or identity.
