Never have I ever gotten better service for paying more, usually get about the whats normal. You can PAY for more extras at least, so thats something, but I've never gotten a nice, unrushed, experience for simply tipping extra. Part of that's on me, I am a bit of a fat shit so I understand the enthusiasm to provide good service is diminished, but its also at least 70% on them.
And I say that because I have paid something like $220 for proper amazing service (RIP Gold/King Spa).
And I have been taken for a ride by moneyhungry divas for $200+ and learned from those mediocre experiences.
But I'm never gonna tip extra before the service even begins or tip after if its crap. You can tell them how you want it all you want, but most of these women are slaves to the clock and that clock runs fast. I dont blame them, but I'm just gonna find a cheaper or better hole.
