with any business that exists outside the law, an opportunity is created for folks to exploit the illegal aspect of said business. The spa itself is probably unable to ensure its own safety and must seek out some contractor - whether its contract or administrative/internal I have no idea but it isnt a far fetched thought by any means.

I have had a good report with quite a few owners, managers and providers at quite a nimber of Korean spas, here in Philly, now and over the past years. Had lunch or dinner back in the kitchen at all of them many times, and have never seen anyone but me hanging out, unless another customer or repair guy was invited to stay to eat too. I really don't think any muscle is hiding out anywhere inside the shops or sitting outside. I have had to provide the muscle a couple of times to stop a few bad situations. Maybe I'm the guy hiding out, lol.

Now we all know several Chinese spas where Papasan runs the show at the front desk with some of his friends hanging out there. These places are not hiding their protection.

Thanks, Nice Guy, I guess it does happen sometimes and maybe use to. I don't go back that far, I am just an 8 or 9 year nubie to this sport. Started going to Philly shops, March 2014.

NG, or the cops are just hiding out waiting for the shift change a block away. You remember, your favorite EPM address, haha.

Before AZN changed to a Thai place, the Emo would tell me to come in the back door.

But your guess is as valid as any.

I’ve never been to Philly Chinatown, been to NYC. Not sure if they are similar. NYC is a bit shady. How receptive are polars to Westerners?

i always wondered about their political ties given the fact that they exist in the same locations for so long. there is certainly money, underground "mob" and high up political ties. its impossible for there not to be
