Something to be aware of. I've had guys on this board tell me that religious groups have no influence on government policy.

Delaware will upgrade prostitution charges if they fall within 1,000 feet of a church or school. Please check the location of your favorite AMP out. If you see a church or school, then avoid.

Masseuses and AMP owners have been hit with these charges, as well as men and women arrested in hotel rooms if the hotel was near a church.

Thanks for the heads up
No problem.

There are several examples of police forces in Delaware choosing a hotel to do a sting operation that was near a church or school, so that they could upgrade the charges against the people they arrested.

Shitty thing to do, but they wanted to send a message, and I'm sure they'll do it again.

These laws are a sham. They get the average person to support the laws because they think it will be a way to prevent street walkers near churches or schools.

But the law is not enforced that way. Instead, some police forces use a hotel near a church or school for stings, and are able then to upgrade the charges against anyone they arrest. They have also done it to AMPs and to working girls in hotels.

Here is a tip to the extent you want to check where the schools and churches are located. Go to googlemaps.com. Locate the area where the spa is situated. Without changing the map, plug in "school" in the Search block, and enter. All schools in the area will show. The plug in "church" in the Search block, and enter. All churches in the area will show. If you change the map even slightly, re-enter the Searches. This works for all areas. Not guaranteed to find everything, but very reliable.

It is a misdemeanor crime to solicit a prostitute whether you pay a $500.00 fine or a $1,000.00 fine. That record will stick with you the rest of your life.

Maybe Maybe Not because each state law varies and defendants with misdemeanor may have the opportunity to have the record expunged depending on their statute of limitations and/or what can be expunged and what can not be expunged.

Yep, another legal form of extortion!! 500.00 fine and a 5K expungement fee!!! THe expunge fee will be much higher than the fine under either circumstance.

It really sucks!!!!
