Happened to me last summer at a spa in Delaware. Was 90 something out side and my temp read 106 and was told I can’t come in. Feel like I wouldn’t be able to walk if it was 106.

I walked about 2 miles to a restaurant once, with a beanie in. They took my temperature when I got there and same thing, it was too high. Fuck I just walked 2 miles in 90 degree weather with a hat on, I don’t and didn’t have covid.

I guess it’s just a precaution, which I can’t blame them for nowadays.

Walking on a hot day does not raise your body temperature. The human body regulates it's temperature in warm or cold environments.

You are referring to reptiles like snakes and lizards who can, and must manage their body temperature by exposure to the sun or burrowing underground as necessary.

Um, the temperature of your surface is the temperature of your body. Maybe a rectal or oral thermometer inserted in your cavity for a requisite period of time might produce more precise results, but for that you'd need to pay extra.

Im not an expert on this, but I always thought skin temp is different from body temp. Vasodilators increase skin temp but not body temp AFAIK.

Today the indoor mask mandate in Philly is over, along will the rest of the Covid restrictions. So is 9 VIP going to continue to require masks? Are they just going to require masks going forward to stop the spread of germs?
Isn’t it only for outdoors that was lifted?

Yeah the temp check gun is inaccurate if you are wearing any type of hat. That is what the receptionist told me at the dentist last week. They gunned me, told me to take off my hat and wait a few minutes. Guess if I am able to make a visit there again i will bring my own thermometer. Just chill on the couch for a minute until I can show the internal temp. Prefer just using it in my mouth (that's what she said) but mms can go rectal if needed. :ROFLMAO:Sucks that I will have to buy a new thermometer.

your body temperature increases during exercise. there are many other factors that effect body temperatures from being perfectly regulated. Once you know this, you can take the appropriate action to cool down before going into an establishment. Hydration, light clothing, rest, shade, fans, airconditioning will all bring you down to normal temperatures quicker.

It happens, find a cool place to sit and relax until you feel comfortable. If you are in a spa, you were going to take off your clothes anyway so start with the shirt, shoes and socks. Nothing like a cold floor to bring your body down to earth!
