Not quite a Kdrama, but thank you for sharing your story. Not easy to share.

The best thread that I've ever read on this site was "falling in love with a provider." Many perspectives, intelligently written by mostly thoughtful men, not just 'tough guy' incel types. Nobody is blowing sunshine up anybody's asshole here, it's a rough road, especially for a well intentioned man like you who has modest resources.

Keep us posted, we're rooting for that happy ending that goes beyond five seconds.
I read that thread, it's a good one!
Lots of broken heart stories with a sarcastic, funny undertone.
Truly enjoyable!

I appreciate some of the comments on here wishfully hinting of a happy ending of the story (no pun intended), maybe even involving me.
But I have to tell you guys that her story born through her texting.
Those text show the incredibly insignificant but important every day realities of her life.
I am just a narrator.
This story is about her, and if she can win some of these battles she is fighting...then we have a happy ending!

I hear ya. On the other hand, immigrants are not the only ones fighting battles for survival. Anyone who has been to a major city lately has probably experienced scenes like this. Just a reminder that lots of folks have it very rough. Being born a US citizen is no guarantee of anything anymore. And maybe it never was.

The key difference is that immigrants are mostly trying to better themselves. Unfortunately, far too many Americans can't cope and choose self destruction.
