I have encountered this kind of thing from certain guys, from time to time. Those guys usually have a difficult time in relationships with women. They almost all have no respect for all women. They almost look at women as a thing to use just for their own pleasure and discard. It is kind of scary. They almost get angry at a guy who would place some kind of value on women. This anger is really projection from them.

To be 100% fair, I know of a few guys that are in way too deep. One lives at a go-go bar, he has a physical handicap and is in a wheelchair. The other has pissed away a small fortune.

Not to say, sometimes I have been in a situation where I don't always feel 100% great about things I have done in this hobby. It can be a crutch or an excuse for not trying to develop a real relationship. Then I look at some real relationships and I feel really bad for the guy, because he is in hell with no way out. It isn't about sex at all.

Stay single and keep doing what you are doing . Don’t EVER do what you don’t want to do due to outside pressure . It is way , way cheaper in the long run , but like with anything there are tradeoffs .

I actually "joke" about my going to those places (massage places and strip clubs) in front of my friends wives and they don't get offended. They all realize I would love to be married if I could find the right girl. Sometimes they even join in the jest. I think it depends on the way you talk about it. Never disrespectful about the girls.
