Many will not agree with me, but this is just my opinion, something I have been banned for in the past, but here goes:
First off....we are not robots, many times someone will make a post or review about something, and being human we reply, but if the thread or the content of the thread runs afoul of a moderator....suddenly someones foot is up your ass and you are simultaneously staring at the " you have been banned" notice, wondering if there was a mistake made and trying t figure out why your mouth taste like shoe polish from said moderators boot up your rear.
i will say that there has been less of this in the recent times, but one does feel as if the school master or dean of discipline is hovering over both shoulders

The Site is named "Ampreviews, which is a derivative or a spin-off of our beloved "Spahunters".....yet a large number of the reviews are not about "Amps" or any kind of massage place whatsoever, if we are gonna mix everything into one, at least have a section for the escorts, and if streetwalker reviews are to be banned then escort reviews should be banned as well since thy are glorified streetwalkers minus the street walking.

one more to add, i do not have a problem with rampage, as some here seem to do, what i have a problem with is how issues are addressed, if you are going to ban me, at least tell me why or what rules i have broken, but to just swath a large amount of people is a bit odd what are we , co-defendants?

In regards to Street Walkers and escorts. I do see a bias on this site. When I tried to review 40th Road providers comma my review was rejected period but when guys are reviewing high and escorts comma there's our protected and accepted. I think we should have an area for independent providers. One could set rules where we do not explicitly say that they are escorts. But let's be honest anyone who does the amp thing on the regular will most likely eventually test out escorts so why not have a resource to help you not waste your money.

I was recommended to AMPR when TER was having some troubles back in the day. And I was banned when caught in the cross fire by Rampage in one of the flushing threads during covid. Thank you for calling this one out @The REAL Bxbrown . I thought I was only a small handful of us under the tyranny of Rampage.
I was pissed when I was banned without repeal. And vowed not to turn back... Just like my addiction to mongering this didnt last too long. It felt like crap coming back and registering a new account.

I agree with previous posters I took pride in my writing and re-reading my reviews on the adventures I have taken apart of. Anyway happy to get that off my chest. Looking forward to better days.

A good way to help fix the private details leaking issue is to bring back the Summery field so reviewers can choose what info is fair to talk about in the thread and which is secret. We used to have this and it was helpful for when you were in between credits or a noob trying to gather a small amount of intel. I would say it's even fine to put the house fee and basics in there and leave the gory details for the private section... This is obviously not limited to the NY section.

Another thing... it can't be impenetrable to find out why you have been banned... please do some sort of 3-strikes rule and use commensurate discipline. the knee-jerk banning was detrimental to the site and the community.

Also, thanks Mods for reinstating me... it's good to be back, it took me 5 or 6 attempts to try and make a new account and they kept getting rejected... I had all but given up and only started browsing again last week by chance.

TJ, still looking for feedback?

It’d be nice if NY reviews could be split between amps/providers offering (1) GFE and (2) non-GFE.

Dudes are posting like 100 reviews a day here (the mods are doing an amazing job dealing with that and total board traffic). Hard to wade through them all. A gfe/non-gfe split would be most meaningful to me.

I wouldn’t want Manhattan reviews split up by part of town (eg, uptown/downtown or east side/west side). First, most spas are midtown, so you wouldn’t solve the problem of having too many irrelevant reviews. Also, depending on where you’re coming from and mode of transportation, it may be just as easy to get to other part of town, Dividing the reviews this way would be more of a nuisance than benefit.

It’d also be a nuisance if you divided reviews by spa. Though I like the idea of making reviews searchable by spa. Not sure how achieved, given the constant re-namings,

Of course, problem goes away when review volume fades.

Big props to @topjimmy for taking time to address the issues creeping into the boards and being transparent about everything. I myself have been banned twice and lost a significant amount of reviews but feel a fresh start is warranted. It’s good to see many members returning and look forward to seeing your new stories. I have a few to share as well, so let’s keep the good times rolling.

I like the GFE/NGFE distinction. Since I don’t really frequent FS places

Lots of great feedback here. Almost all of which I agree with.

But can we please make stating damages in the review a retirement for approval? Places change constantly, girl to girl tips are different, some places have different level HF. I don't want to have to go through 6 reviews of a place hoping to know how much to have on me.
I know most places are about the same but it does help knowing exactly what to expect going into an appointment so that we can prepare accordingly.
The line "typical damage" or "damage is what others have mentioned in other reviews" is just plain lazy.

That's my rant.

Thank you for building a great place for everyone

Big thanks to @topjimmy for this thread and for being so quick in implementing these changes!
I can't say much more than what has already been written here, but one additional thing I would ask for is can there be a private-discussion page for the Boston section, like the one in the NY section? I would like to make a post just leaving recs for the area.

Thank you!

I just tried to post a review, which was legit, and it got rejected for no given reason. I think that is odd and it makes me feel like i'm maybe wasting my time here.

+ 1. Add a box for damage and make it a required field

Thanks for the open forum . I am wondering why this site won’t try to monetize and have spas advertise ? I think it would save a lot of the requests to provide contact info, website info etc

Perhaps it’s due to LE concerns bur just a thought
