I have a little bit of sympathy for Mr Bxxx. It's a bit disorienting going onto these boards ...imagine a 12 year old kid moving to a new country where he doesn't speak the language. Sometimes people around him will take the time to speak slowly, or try to explain what's going on. Most people are just too busy to help out. It's a pain to type out Private Hottie, so many of us use PH. It's true that the search function doesnt work for 3-letters or less words. OTOH (that's On the Other Hand), if you scroll through the reviews, you will start to figure out what is what and who is who. Just like you'll eventually learn that new language by being immersed. Be patient with yourself and with the other members. It'll come.
Bxx, I'm sure you came here with the best of intentions, but there are a number of guys who show up here and are all take and no give. So other guys get tired of that. When you get the eye-rolling, you could say it's the equivalent of someone yelling at you "you're in America! Learn English!" Probably not the nicest thing, but understand where they're coming from. While I also can see where YOUR frustration is coming from, your assimilation will go much more smoothly if we tamp down the lashing out. It isn't really going to help, and feeds into stereotypes about immigrants.
