I read the NY Post too, sports and was the afternoon paper I would buy on my way home many many years ago when I first started working in Manhattan many many years ago

Newspapers are great and very important. Particularly independent ones( a limited thing these days, but still out there).

They do fundamental reporting, particularly on the state and local level that aren't covered anywhere else anymore.

I read the post too only because its free to read online. All the other papers charge you to read the paper digitally. The NY POST is largely a tabloid. I wouldn't call what they do news.

I still subscribe and read the paper. Yep, in print, paper and ink and everything. Local journalism matters and we're being short-sighted if we don't support it in some way.

I also read the atlantic city press. Some papers lean politically one way or the other however i just look for news in between the lines.

Someone once told me that there were special classes on how to fold the New York Times when you read that paper. Certain people have a unique way of folding that paper. I don't know if you know what I am talking about?
