Was that from the second part of the movie when they were in Vietnam? I was just re-watching that movie a few weeks back. Some great lines in that movie.

Keep in mind those prices were in a different county. Different countries have different prices. But, point taken, we have been paying too much.

A lot of classic lines in FMJ.

Also, keep in mind there are different types of inflation.

We are subjected to:

Greedflation

Tipflation

We cant control or influence Greedflation, but we can try to put the brakes on Tipflation

If you think about mongering costs over say the last 20 years, they really haven't gone up as much as a lot of other stuff. If you were paying $160 for a full-service session at a spa in 2002, today that is the equivalent of $260. I am spending $200 today ($123 in 2002 prices) and getting great service. I think a lot of the reason is competition but would be interesting to hear other perspectives on why mongering costs have risen slower than other services. Lastly, it really shows how over 15/20 years, even modest inflation has a big impact on the cost of living.

For me, the service I got at many AMP's in 2015 (200 all in) for over the top gfe service went up for awhile to 250 but now at many top notch spas can be had tor 220 all in. Don't forget I'm in Philly your $MV in other locations. So I would say it hasn't gone up much.

A couple of weeks ago I did my first AMP visit of the new year at a recently-opened, new to me, place. 80 base rate for the hour & table shower, unchanged from what has been standard for Korean places in my area for a while, but the 160 extra that got FS for the last couple of years just got me a nice BJ. Since I've always found rates to be the same at all the KAMPs around here, I take that to mean rates have bumped up a bit overall once you're in the door. But not by that much.
