I never was a member but liked the ability to sort by town. I know quite a few members belonged there as well as they used the same handle and were generally willing to fill in the details. The pictures were a nice touch as well.

Pretty useless unless you are a member.
Back in the day you could read the older reviews and comments for free. Now nothing.
Between this site and the other 2 sites I read, I can get get all the information I need.
Only thing rubmaps is good for now is locating a spa in he area you are in.
I’ve used that feature numerous times. Then cross reference reviews on these sites.

Rubmaps is pretty useful in different ways.
I found a potential ATF 20 mins from LA using rubmaps. LA thread kinda wack here.
Also, in spots like Flushing, rubmaps gives a lot more spots compared to the number of reviewed spots here.
It's also a lot more TOFTT with rubmaps at times.

I've been a member for quite a few years now. I think I have something like a hundred and twenty reviews over there. I have built up quite a network between users so the information flows pretty nicely. Very useful site and a lot more organized information.

I'm actually well aware of that and that's why my reviews as of the last few years stay pretty basic and do not have graphic information. I really don't think they use one sight more than the other. And to be clear I'm not saying that these websites are the sole reason that places have trouble. Usually there is another problem that starts the process and then they end up using these kind of websites to gather additional information. I have seen it happen first Hand. of course there are other members on here that have far superior intelligence than I would ever have pertaining to this matter and would say that these websites mean absolutely nothing. For me I'll just stick to the facts that I know and not hopeful thinking.

Rubmaps has been taking reviews from here and putting them on their site. The reviews are not word for word but the same review. They alter the wording somewhat. A few of my reviews have appeared on rubmaps the next day. The fee they charge is outrageous in my opinion.

I dont really believe in the truth of most rubmaps reviews, but it gives me a starting point for New England spas that aren’t covered here. Yes the cost is way too high. But it’s tough times since backpage dropped out, spahunters closed.

There are guys that have accounts on both sites with different usernames. Sometimes when they review a place they will post it on both sites. That could appear to be a copied review.

That certainly happens.

There are also posters who go to one site, plagiarize someone else's review to post on another site to get VIP access.
