So my wife thought it was a good idea for the family to download life360, a family tracking app. Now she can see where I am and where I've been. I think I'm fucked. How does a hobbyist deal with this?

I never heard of this thing so I went to their website. Dude, you are not just fucked, but royally fucked with a cherry on top. This app is like having the East German Stasi on your phone.

Maybe you could turn it around on her. Bug her about every trip she takes to the mall or wherever, so she gets sick of it.

Perhaps she already knows about your hobby, instead of confronting you head on and risk an ugly fight, which could ultimately lead to a separation or worse, divorce, this life360 is an attempt by her to prevent further visits without ever saying one word to you. You will have to leave your phone in your vehicle at a nearby coffee shop, pub etc and walk to the amp of your choice, then she’ll wonder of all your visits to said coffee shop, pub etc. you always take the exact amount of time why is that? It’s like being forced into an early AMP retirement.

Isn't that more something that parents would use to track their kids? Why the heck would a wife insist on a husband participating if she didn't already have suspicions in her mind?

She got it for the kid who started middle school this year and recently got a cell phone. Of course I had to be included.

And I just met my atf this Tuesday (review upcoming).

About 2 to 2 1/2 years ago while on SH, a SO sent me a PM, without going into the whole long story, she found out of her husband’s spa visits, he promised to stop, he lied, started back up, she wanted to know why he made visits to “Asian women”.
She provided her personal email and phone number, I entered her number on Facebook, got a look at her and as she described herself, she like many others weren’t aware by entering a phone number you could find someone, she was was afraid of getting divorced, was still in love, she wasn’t or isn’t the only spouse aware of AMP sites. I shared my experience with a couple trusted SH friends, mainly for an opinion, I just didn’t reveal who she or her monger husband was, I gave my word. You may have gotten by, you just haven’t gotten away with it, as the saying goes.

It’s like you’re walking on the train track, the train is bearing down on you, there’s no way it’ll stop in time before it slams into you and you don’t hear the wooo wooo of the train’s horn. LOL

I only use AMPs in locations where I park in a legitimate business lot, leave my phone in my car and walk the short distance. I’ll usually also buy something at the stores so I have receipts to support my alibi. That’s been working since way before cellphones were invented.

I appreciate all your ideas and words of encouragement. I'm an nyc dude am relegated to subway transportation. So leaving the phone in the car wouldn't be an option. I just met maddybedroomeyes for the first time this week and she's by far the best experience I ever had. This stupid app idea was forced on me the next day! Luckily Maddy was at my normal subway stop to get to work. Hopefully she'll host at that spot regularly. I think I can turn off the gps and turn it on when I get to work.
