If you go to the options on the app, you can disable things like allowing your location to be tracked and history. You can see others, but they can't see you. The app uses a crap ton of battery life with the location tracker on as it constantly transmits. So it is justifiable. I think you can also set it so it doesn't use cell data for that, only wifi. So if you stay off wi-fi or any nearby free hotspots, that is another option. Everything in that app is configurable. Play around and watch what happens and then set your phone accordingly to "save your device battery life".

Yea you are screwed! Tell your SO this tracking is a security risk and can be hacked. Need to get rid of it. I would never agree to be tracked like this by my SO.

My SO (girl friend) wanted remote access to my home CCTV so she could see when I come and go. Told her no. She didn't like that. I'm not married though and they are my cameras!

OP you could also just tell your SO you like massage! She won't believe you but it might be your only hope. If she divorces you over getting a massage then let her go and marry a massage girl! Haha!

Why wouldn't she believe you? Unless there have been publicized busts in your area recently, an SO may think massage is massage. Legit massage is popular, and many people are oblivious to the possibilities of the AMP world.

True! She might believe unless she gets curious. My GF got curious and started investigating me after 10 years going for massage. In my case it's because I am seeing one girl only for a long time. That was the red flag! But now she knows.

I don't understand that, kgmspa. Going to the same place for the same provider would make perfect sense if you like legit massage. "She's the best". I'd think going to a bunch of different places would be more of a red flag.

What did your GF find when she "started investigating"? How did she figure out it was more than you just staying with a therapist you liked.

Started seeing my favorite outside of spa. Sometimes for many hours. GF checked paper trail. Bank statements, receipts, etc.

Couple options

1. If you hobby near work and you're afforded the opportunity - just leave phone in office and walk/commute to amp.

2. Get a second phone, burner or metro pcs etc, and occasionally leave your life 360 phone at home by accident. Obviously don't bring the second phone home.

3. You can delete the app and the other users don't get notified for some time. So just delete before you visit and add it back 2 hours later. If she asks, say your phone was short on memory and suggested you delete a bunch of apps and you accepted without looking.

First off, I’d grow some testicles and deinstall this crap from your phone and your kids, and tell your wife that ankle bracelets are for prisoners. Of course I’d never get into this situation, because I would have said No first. No kid needs to grow up with parents as spies. And the thing is, kids are always going to be smarter than adults with tech anyway. Chances are your kid already breaks this when he wants anyway.

But assuming you can’t do that because your wife wears the pants, I’d start using gps location emulator apps and then establish a pattern of unreliability for the app, on your phone. Or break your phone, and buy a dumb phone.

I think I can get away with turning off the gps on my ride to work. Monger before work and turn the gps on when I arrive. I'm glad Elegant Ties just moved near my subway stop. Haven't seen them yet, but I hear good things.

I wonder about the current activities being monitored by your SO thus far, was there any talk about a first meeting to discuss findings since first installing the app?
So basically this app is GPS, turning off your phone and restarting it later won’t conceal your footprints, once you restart your phone the app will reboot and tell the tale. This app also reveals websites visited, WTF? your SO may be sitting back following this conversation, maybe she’ll follow you to work one day next week, doesn’t even have to have you in her sights, the app will direct her. You turn your phone off, enter into a wonderful amp session, as your walking out turning your phone back on you hear
“hi honey” and it ain’t LingLing greeting you, oh no, it’s your SO, just like DrHappy said “royally fucked”.

I don't see where one can see the sites I visit on my phone. Also, if the gps is off, it will not identify where I was while it was off. I just have to find a place close to work as someone mentioned before. Too bad you need a phone to tell the provider that you have arrived at their location. Leaving the phone at work would be perfect.

I have a friend in the same life 365 and is a nightmare it shows if the cell phone is charging or running on battery it shows a large amount of data the best thing to do is be a burner phone and use it during work hrs like you stayed 1-2hrs overtime of course the amount of places will be limited to the ones nearest your job site. Is quite unfortunate but I rather live like that than loose a lot of money over a divorce

Maybe I am crazy? I do not know. I am single and always bring my keys, phone and wallet to parlors. Before entering the parlor, I turn the phone off. I noticed some of you leave phone in vehicles. After leaving the parlor, I turn the phone on. Thoughts?
