Monkeypox…

The older ones of us are vaccinated against smallpox. Depends where you grew up and what year smallpox vaccinations ended there. I think in the US it was around 1970. I'm sure someone can find out for themselves.

I hope however we have learned something from COVID. a provider or a monger has a fever they are not going to show up in a spa.

Smallpox vaccine termination was 1972 in America. Polio was 1979 again in the USA. Whereby medical science knows that the remnant effect of a virus is 300-500 years (remnant being the years the virus still circulates around the planet), I'm scratching my head wondering why they would discontinue it. Probably to save the money hungry HMO's money. Global warming has resuscitated many viruses. Hopefully this is a wakeup call to reinstate it. I do not believe China and most Asian countries have discontinued either polio or smallpox vaccines.

As for the fever, 74 % of Covid victims do not show any symptoms at all, especially vaccinated and boosted hosts who acquire the BA.5 variant. Polio does not necessarily show a fever, it is more prone towards paralysis. Monkey pox has a very long incubation period ,around three weeks. In that time the host may not show any symptoms. If you must indulge, go back to the rules of April 2020. Mask on, no TS, standing only, no DFK, no rimming either way. CBJ and CFS, K9 would be the position of choice as it offers the least intimacy face to face and the most distance. At least that's my spin.

Jerk Mate here I cum. Remember me?

You theoretically *can* get it from any surface, but there has not been a rush of cases in hotel maids or laundry workers so it's not quite common. Since it is transmitted in the gay men community it is clear that some level of skin to skin contact is the preferred method of transition.
What is not clear -at least to me- is how easily it is transmitted BEFORE symptoms.
Stay tuned and pay attention...
Presumably, “essential” workers, already wary of Covid-19, take extraordinary measures (gloves, masks, hand sanitizer) when dealing with said items to avoid infection.

Much different than lying on a sheet or towel buck naked as a client at an AMP.

Dude, you’re pretty much listing everything I LIKE to do when I go to an AMP.:(

BTW, I’ll take monkeypox over polio ANY day.

For those too young to remember, look up “iron lung.”

Nuff said.

Three week asymptotic incubation period where the virus is highly transmissible- think Covid with a 3x longer incubation

Was really hoping to go to a HE only place in a lowkey part of Westchester for just half an hour. I'm scared I'll get super unlucky but the chances must be super low. Wonder if I can bring my own sheets or something :ROFLMAO:

Fuck. :(

Totally forgot about “breakthrough” Covid, especially since most of us who did the RIGHT thing got our booster this past winter, when Omnicron reached its dangerous heights. By now, its effectiveness must be diminishing.

Has there ever been a more PERILOUS time to be a monger (aside from the early days of AIDS, when not much was understood about it)?
You mean since the beginning of human civilization?

It's not referred to as "the oldest profession in the world." Because suddenly men liked paying for sex since cars were invented.

The article suggests that it is most commonly spread when the infected person has rashes, scabs, lesions, etc. I assume that you could easily see these on a naked person. While that’s not the only way for it to spread, it does seem to be the most common. So I say, if you’re still going to partake, at least ask for lights on and do a visual check. By the way, are the people getting getting it ignoring nasty-looking bumps on the people they are fucking? Because even without monkeypox being a problem, there’s no way in hell that I’m getting close to a person with bumps or rashes. I even get scared by razor bumps and other non-STD things I see.

Agreed if you saw a herpes goober on her lip you would run. Yes? Same here but the rash in it’s highly contagious early stage can look like a birthmark or a red irritation . Also a pimple on her ass or thigh . It’s tricky

Yep.

I saw pictures in another article that showed the progression of a monkeypox sore, and the INITIAL stage easily resembled a common pimple.

Gotta assume that’s how many of these cases among gay/bisexual men are being transmitted.

As “Kwagmeyer” noted, aint nobody “gettin’” with somebody with a nasty ass sore.

Me, I err on the side of caution . Do you for one moment think any AMP would share information about their girls ? They would say you were crazy “ no come back here “ , burn the sheets , put the girl on vacation and deny, deny, deny

Just hit me.

The REVERSE could be true as well.

A “pro” could notice an innocuous blemish/mole on your body and refuse service.

Yep, these be some INTERESTING days in mongering.
