I lived in SD for 2 years coming from NYC. You will be challenged to find much excitement besides the weather. Go to the border, walk across of course, and ask the cab driver to take you to The Hong Kong Club. You’ll be pleased. Very much worth the effort……

If you are a US citizen you can come back over the border with just your ID. The Mexican customs will fine you $20 in cash to enter however.

The other guy said the name of the place. Typically arriba is $100, chica drinks are like $6, and getting a room for a half hour is like $30-40 I can’t remember.
