Ever wonder WHAT determines WHICH AMPs get hit?

I mean, we’re talking about an OPEN “secret” here involving DOZENS of places, so why does a place like “Sunny” get “hit?”

Yeah I’d have thought that one of the other ones down the block would have gotten busted first

I noticed that they had recently started running ads on cityxguide with address and implications of "more", which may have drawn some attention.

I think it's complaint based. Landlord, other building tenants, customer, whatever. They need a paper trail to raid and can't write down "common knowledge" as a reason.

i got caught in one ages ago.

there was a female cop there as well. i'm guessing it's a requirement
there was also an undercover cop to validate the raid.

you ought to go by the place again to see if there's an nypd sign there

"They need a paper trail"

So I've heard, but sometimes an ad can bring in enough customers to tip the tolerance scale to complaint. perhaps just too many on the block.

I'll be going that way this weekend to take a look.

hi guys,

updates:
I passed by today and it was closed and lights were off. the door didn't have any police paper or any violation paper.
my friend who visits the place very often told me it is not a busted but will open back soon.

I'd been meaning to try this place out since there haven't been any reviews on here. I once spotted a fairly attractive woman smoking in the doorway once. Is it comparable to 27 Essex?
