Looking for views, opinions or experiences regarding asking for a different provider within the same establishment after several appointments with the same provider.
Not that I'm in any way concerned about loyalty in this business but could there be a decline in the level of service?

Touchy situation. Most veterans on here tend to say one spa, one girl. Some do get jealous.
But I also run into the opposite. "You try new girl, my friend". Happened quite a few times. I would ask Mammsan advice. She may help you out and say something on your behalf.

You can go when she's on 'vacation.' Also, I've asked my 'regular girl' who I should ask for if she's not around or booked up. I've gotten some good recommendations, and she never expressed any loyalty concerns.

@ALXC38 I see one provider all the time. I saw another provider that I would like to try. So, I called the parlor and the original provider answered the phone. I told her I wanted to try another provider. She obliged and an appointment was set. On my way to the parlor, she said this will be my last visit to the parlor as long as she is working there. I was puzzled and said nothing. Upon arrival, she pulled me to the other room and told me that she was jealous of me wanting to try a new provider. I asked her why and she said because she is in love with me. I told her I never knew she had feelings for me nor did she express her feelings for me. She said she assumed I knew, which was not true at all. From there, we mended our concerns and as you are reading now, we are still very, very close! I do not recommend asking for different provider in the same parlor. As @Ellocohombre said if she offered you to try another girl, great. If not, do not. Also, as @Chc5 mentioned, call and find out and if she is there. See someone else at another parlor. Good luck!

Interesting insight. Although I'm relatively new to this I have found that once you become a regular with a certain provider you become somewhat reluctant to change within the same spa. But because I have or feel no loyalty I am compelled to simply go to another spa and patron a provider there. This approach seems to avoid any of the potential conflicts that could otherwise emerge.
Very interesting insight by all.
