How do you guys pay for it? Wanted to look up a couple spots but don't want my CC on file. I know they do gift card methods but I then gotta drag my ass out to the store and get a physical gift card for $30 which only gets me 15 days.

edit: I took a closer look and saw that NYers can't even do the gift card method cause they don't accept it.

Yeah it’s annoying. You’d have to but s gift card in nj and submit a photo of the receipt with payment. Or start s big coin account and pay by bit coin. They also claim to allow you to upload photos of places where they don’t have a photo which gets you a free month but when i tried that, i found there was no way to actually upload a photo other than the “members photos” and i haven’t received any credit from uploading that way. Not worth the trouble.

Use your credit card. After the charge is processed, tell the bank you lost the credit card, and they will issue you a new one.

And I tried a gift card, but it wouldn't work, because the gift card could OLNY be inside the USA, and this site is overseas.

Yeah, glad you guys agree. Rubmaps is such bullshit for not allowing other forms of payment. Emailed them a few years ago requesting another form of payment which they said might be available soon but obviously not. F them!

I m surprised some of you have problems with RM. I did not have many problems with RM. Since I joined this site, I stopped the RM payment. Most sites including this one has fake reviews except my trusted mongers here such as wayne1250, mike mendez, vjlutz, and few others. Maybe total 15-20 I trust. Maybe RM changed their policies after I left?

Rubmaps is cool and you can get it for free, I keep telling people. If you add a spa (ANY SPA AND A PHOTO THE SPA) you get 30 free days. If you see a spa on rubmaps with no photo, as long as it has an address, go to the spa, take the photo and send it to RM, you get 30 free days. I never pay for Rubmaps-never - and you do get good intel there. They always post rates-one thing - NEVER EVER send a photo of the spa's that do not want their exact location known-you know what I mean-that is treason-and you will get banned from the spa, as you should be-do the right thing and its a breeze-You can PM me if you have trouble and i'll guide you along-enjoy

How do you “send” them a photo? The only way i saw to do this was to do the member photos and i have not received any credits for uploading and the exterior photo of the spa never replaced the “needs photo” banner.

That was not my experience with Rubmaps. Last year before Backpage and Spa Hunters became casualties a spa opened up and started advertising on BP. I went over and had a good time and reviewed it on Spa Hunters. I then put it on Rubmaps and added a review. I got access only to the review I wrote. Later on, I found out that if you uploaded a picture of a spa you would get one month of access for free. I walk to this spa and took a picture and uploaded it. The picture was rejected for whatever reason. The impression I got was they want you to pay for access which I have a problem with. Why should you pay to provide the content they need to keep a site going?

Tried both uploading photo and adding spa with photo and neither worked. Multiple times. with good photos that are like photos for other spa. Either the site is down or they only want the $$ now. Like I said - frustrating and a waste of time. They make no concessions to contributors so I'm done.

Exactly the same thing happened to me.
No idea why. I think they just want the $$
