Philly Strip Clubs scene is almost dead.

Strip clubs have a certain appeal, sort of like thumbing through a Playboy magazine. I know I dated myself. You know there is a low commitment attached to the experience, but the visual of a pretty girl dancing naked (or better yet nearly) gives the endorphin release then you go home and ravage the SO.
I remember like yesterday enjoying an afternoon watching a knock out blonde perform her 3 song strip on stage, later learned she was married with kids, so nice to talk to... but wow she was pretty... fell in love that day...

when the strip clubs were very liberal, I always had a fun and memorable night.
The past five years Philly has cleaned up these clubs. All clubs kicked out all the fun slutty girls leaving us with aunt prude type gals. I don’t have the patience to figure out which gal is going to relieve me of blue balls.
Now when I do visit the clubs, then i have to hit the amps afterwards.
Gosh, I miss the slutty gals.

All the major players are open. But who knows if they can keep their doors open. First, some clubs close at midnight. What strip clubs close at midnight? Most of party goers come past 11pm. All the complaints members have voiced on this board to why the clubs suck ass.

The changes are temporary, trust me.
Many years ago I sat in a packed Penns Port Pub on a late afternoon with two older gents to my left who could have been in their 70's. Back then the girls danced two songs on the tiny stage, first in a bikini, second stripped nude. Third song they walked on to of the bar nude for tips. She reached the older guys and squatted with her legs wide open and they looked at her puss and said "Still looks the same". I cracked up and bought them a beer.

Have been to Show n Tel w/ buddies a few times-- one of the only places in town to stay out past midnight during the restrictions. It's an experience for sure, but more like a try it once or twice and never alone. Some of the more bizarre strippers I've seen. Also, they do have lesbian shows on stage which is always fun.
In terms of talent-- have seen a big decline over the years. Have to travel to jersey to find better in many cases.
