You can upgrade your account INSTANTLY by visiting the Account Upgrades page in your own user profile and using a valid credit card to purchase a subscription. You can get to this page by clicking the link in any review, by clicking the red "See the Details Now" banner on the home page, and by clicking the Purchase Private Details link in the navbar at the top of every page

I think it happens if you haven't had a review within the past 30 days. Which is a problem for many that don't go see providers every month.

If true, Helloboy123 should now have access to private details since he posted a review a few days ago.

Like other review boards, 90% of a review is visible to everyone. The "Private Details" section, however, is only visible to site contributors (those who have earned access by contributing reviews of their own). After your 3rd review, your account gets upgraded with Private Details access which gives you the ability to read all of the private remarks the reviewer has shared in the review.

This account upgrade lasts for a period of 4 weeks, and can be extended by an additional 4 weeks for every review that is written and approved by the site moderators.

If you allow your earned access to expire without extending it by writing reviews, your account will be downgraded to the basic account and will have to start the process over by submitting 3 reviews to be approved.

I understand the intent but even if I go once/month, does it really help the site if it's the same place and person ? Seems like that would just clutter things up.
