tried to get in contact with a few of the decent looking ones. each time they reply with the same format message, "hey, i'm glad it's you and not some stranger..." then try to scam me with some verification link. it seems like 90% of them are being run by the same person.

As posted above, supply and demand. Less customers, but the customers who need the service are somewhat "addicted". The Asian community has an above average propensity to save, so even the ones who were not frugal are being supported by their deep pocket friends who saved their money. They are, for most part, not hurting like out-of-work Americans. Rent and living expenses are shared. Simple foods are cheap and plentiful. They can wait, and if you want to see them, you'll pay a premium. A fundamental difference in culture.
Often, the more payment options available are usually scams !! Cash only or cash app with local area codes is a better likelihood.
At the end of the day AMP's are still a better option with a lower risk and far better reward.
Also need to be alert as LE uses skip the games for there bait adds for stings. Don't jump at an add that you see for the 1st time or is to good to be true.

I had called several numbers on STG with no success-all scams and had a frightening result- a day or two later I received a text message threatening me bodily harm if I didn’t pay $2000 because I didn’t fulfill my commitment. What was frightening was they had my name and address in the text message. Fortunately never heard from them again. I will never again call a number from any of these sites.
Not to worry. The bodily harm replies are scams as well.
Unfortunately sites like STG while have some legitimate providers it’s also filled with dead end scams.

Buy a trac phone, use cash and don’t register it.
Never worry about traceability.
If your doing outcall use the same 2 call system that good providers use.
But never give out your address to anyone you’ve never seen before

Do you know if Tracfone is keeping the $20 for 3 months plans, or any phones more basic than smart phones?
I liked the cheap prepaid cards and the simple phone without exact GPS, but they sent a message that my phone won't work after 12/31. (Evidently with the sale to Verizon they have to stop 3G, I also think they want to move customers to smart phone plans that cost more).
