Are you sure the pay station would not take coins? i have used the one a few blocks away and it did take coins. Also, Labguy has also confirmed same.

Sorry, I wasn't clear about it. Yes, you are right. It takes coins, but it was jammed when I tried to insert a quarter, and I could not clear it.
