Really?
I do understand the need for discretion, but take look at the recent "Jessie @ Pink Spa", for example, It's all out there and yet not one reprimand.
90% of the reviews on here are way more explicit than mine.
BTW, if you think LE can't see everything on this site if they want to, you are dreaming.

Well not that time and that is only one of many examples of much more explicit details with no warnings from places in all areas.
Personally I doubt it matters anyway since I believe all info is available to those who want it.

For what it’s worth, sites like these, namely Rub Maps and the former Spa Hunters, are mentioned when a spa is investigated . I find it amusing that the reporter in Chester county referred to it as a “chat room”, but the bottom line is that this information is used as evidence to secure search warrants etc. Our incessant chatter constitutes “probable cause”. Most local law enforcement would rather handle things privately, rather than involve State and Federal authorities. So Philly uses L & I to shut a place down for “code violations “. We all know that the wonderful women who staff our houses if relaxation do so of their own volition, but once they travel across State lines, from JFK or Newark airports into Pa or elsewhere, if they are being transported for the purpose of working in the sex trade, be it a jack shack or a VIP GFE house, they meet the criteria for “human trafficking “. It’s just the way the law is written. And those of us who befriend them and give them rides or visit them at their places in Flushing and then drive them back, are complicit in “trafficking “ them. Recommending a woman because she does X, Y or Z can be construed as “promoting prostitution “ , and the well meaning monger can be accused of that as well. Restraint of pen (or keyboard) and tongue is paramount to protecting and maintaining this industry.

From the info in your post it would seem that anything much beyond, "I had a massage there and she was great." would put you, her and the establishment in jeopardy.
That would render this site pretty much useless.

I can’t disagree. Just sharing my knowledge about the subject so that people can make informed decisions when they choose to share or recommend X, Y and Z. As an owner operator, I can tell you that reviews do not increase our businesses in a meaningful way, and that some undesirable customers have knocked on our doors as a result of some of the chatter. With the absence of backpage and craigslist, some definite bottom feeders have found their way into “our world” .

roy1074, I appreciate the info you provided.
I'm surprised that the reviews have little positive effect on business though.
Sounds like you'd rather these sites didn't exist. More trouble than they're worth for you.

When you know that putting too much out there is bad for business and you do it anyway for what? Your own ego? You can write stuff a certain way and then PM to those that need to know more. Or is it that you don’t want to go through PM with a bunch if guys?
Creative writing!

Not at all. I believe they are a useful resource for many. It also allows owners to monitor activities at their own places. One employee providing services “off the menu” can cause difficulties for the others that work there . Also gives us a good handle on who is bringing in business and who is unpopular.
