Joy was extremely cute (amazing ass) and initially enthusiastic. I bet she really gets excited and provides all kinds of enthusiasm when you flash some Ben Franklins. She is a good actress and puts on a good show until she finds out that she isn't going to make bank. Maybe if I stumble into some extra coin, I will go back and try to make it up to her.

In another BSS-Joy thread I mentioned that I had enjoyed 2 sessions with Joy back in 2018. She was my introduction to BSS, and what an first impression she made on me! After reading some of the comments in this thread, I'm wondering if we're discussing the same provider. My sessions with Joy were upbeat, enthusiastic and quite satisfying, not at all rushed or mechanical. My schedule precludes a visit with Joy this time around, but I would heartily recommend her without hesitation. Better research and preparation on your part may have led to a more positive experience. RTFF and always remember that in this hobby YMMV. Cheers!

I totally agree. and you are correct. Had I known more going in, it would have been a completely different experience. I was focused on a different provider and service. I know better now but will only go if I need a certain something. I will take the required funds for that service. The last trip had a different goal and I misinterpreted what services they provided. I wanted one thing and they thought I wanted something else. My bad.

As for Joy, my next visit would not be for a massage. That is if she would ever have me again,

I have been trying different places ( NYC to Dom Rep) and different women. I tried this site because of all the positive reviews. After rereading my original review, I felt more needed to be said and there were replies to several comments. You're right, this did turn into a discussion which I hope others read before going to BSS. This way they have the best possible experience.

I think a pick and choose level of service should be accommodated along with a solid massage. Is that asking too much, I don't think so.

With all due respect Loco, there are plenty of other shops that offer a different level of service. Blue Star is one of the best in the region at what they do.

The problem is that the provider is then putting their ass on the line talking about services. That could put them in hot water. If you are a repeat customer that is fine. However, that was my first time and they didn't know me. They did ask how I knew Hanna and I told them "reviews". They then felt more comfortable venturing into the next level of service.

They read this forum and the reviews. So when you mentioned that you heard about Hana from a review they expected you to be knowledgeable about the spa and the service offered.

And I've said it before, but some of the best massages I have received took place in the TS. On par with many LMPs.
