There's no specific age.
A male would say noona if he's talking to an OLDER female (really meant for older sister). But it's a sign of respect.
I think a lot of you guys are actually older than noona (kim) so you might not have to say that, but could say it as a sign of respect.
I'm younger than her so it's my fault for not calling her noona from the beginning but i'm learning the korean roots so i refer to her as noona now lol
