Didn't catch the providers name, but it seems as though there is a fair amount of turnover there, so I'm not so sure the name matters.

Went for an hour - seems as though the traffic was light. Didn't call ahead, didn't have to wait.

A reasonable massage was had - she was thorough and had a solid technique.

My first time there, I was a walk-in (obviously) and by chance drew Tiffany. I had been waiting in the lobby, and she was out there chatting with Henry for awhile, wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants.

So after we're in the room, she left for a minute, then came back dressed in a mini-skirt and crop top! From that moment, I knew I was going to like that place!

I've been away from Meridian for about a year, but I read soemwhere recently that the gubmint (either Hatboro or the county) was going to pass a law (for everyone's protection, of course ) that providers would need to have a license, and need to wear neck-to-ankle clothing.

No mention of a complete shutdown though. Maybe the AMP is deciding it won't be worth staying open?

There's a post on another thread about Meridian, within the last week I think, that mentioned an impending law/act that would require providers of massage (and I believe other services, like those dangerous nail-salons, lol) to be licensed by the state. Mainstream massage places' providers are usually C.M.T.'s or L.M.T.s (I think), that are licensed by the state. I don't know how Meridian and others in the area will react (there's almost always a way around this sort of thing), but I do see it as a back-handed attempt by Hatboro (and other townships sure to follow) to "clean up" their areas WITHOUT having to use their L.E. As with everything, time will tell.

Humbug, LE uses sex trafficking to close down these parlors. Everyone knows what's happening here. We live in a conservative country where porn is a multi-billion $ industry. And anything else is considered offensive to the family core and performed behind closed doors. So until the federal government can figure a legit way to tax it, they have to remain in the shadows.
Basically the law describes sex trafficking as someone brought here against their will and forced to perform sexual acts for money. Their pass ports are taken and they have to pay off a certain amount of money. I will be honest, I never met an unhappy provider. I think these women from really poor areas of the world jump at a better chance to come to America and make some really good bank!
I dont know many people here that are willing to work 60+ hrs a week standing over strange men giving massages and who knows what else all day long, all week long and all month long. Meridian is going down, but have no fear two will pop up under the radar for a few yrs.

Massage parlors and alternative therapy establishments have to file with the city, and when doing so must provide copies of the licenses for all of the attendants. There is specific language about touching customers, clothing, and penalties.

Whether or not they enforce this is up for debate, but I'm sure the owner(s) have to think through the risk. If there was a 'grey area' in which they operated before - it's gone now. With something a succinct as this ordinance - I see it as making LE's job easier and a way for the general public to hold LE accountable.

Wow. After looking again at that article Hatboro is really setting a standard for how to be bureaucratic cunts. Requiring massage parlors to " register with and receive annual licenses from the borough, and in the process provide copies of all therapists’ state licenses." A.K.A. Give us $$ and document yourselves AND workers. And as an ULTIMATE F.U. to the businesses: "Alternative therapy technicians must also pay Hatboro police a fee, covering the cost of investigating their establishment, and submit two forms of state or federal ID, the results of FBI and state police criminal background checks and a signed release permitting borough police to conduct a local records check."

Remember the WWII flicks where the Germans or Russian soldiers would stop someone and ask for their papers and I.D? Yeah, THAT. Soon coming to a town near you boys and girls!

As manu times as I've gotten her bottoms on the floor, her dress never hit the floor, even when the top cover was unhooked.
