Complete misconception. Asians don't get double eyelid surgery to look less Asian. It occurs naturally for many asians and has been considered more beautiful for hundreds of years. People in asia consider this misconception white arrogance.

I am not sure of the psychology involved but to me the results of facial surgery on Kgirls leaves them looking less “ethnic”?
Perhaps Westernized is the wrong word. I would be interested in BL’s take on the “look” popular among Kgirls who get facial work and their motivation. There does seem to be a common model or ideal look advertised in Seoul and abundantly practiced in Gangnam clinics.
