I tried to book Mia Friday, but she had been fired. I asked why and was told it was for tip hiking. Tip hiking is evidently a big no-no at Garden Retreat.

I never had a problem with that with Mia, but I'm a regular customer and she was always happy enough with a $50 or $60 tip. Oh well. I did see a couple of nice looking new faces, but haven't tried them yet.

The good news is that there is a new masseuse named Joy. Excellent massage through and through. Nice looker, about 5'2", light brown hair, good shape and pretty face. Looks early 30ish. I left with a big smile on my face!

Did u get more than the regular treatment? Once it happened to me and I can’t remember her name but she had short hair and petite said she was just visiting from another spa. Not sure if its the same girl.

Negotiating tips before the ending is a big no-no at Garden. I know a lot of places do that.

has never once happened to me there in maybe 15-20 visits. surprised if that's what mei did, she's clearly been doing this for awhile.

i did see a younger provider walking around there last time so maybe they're turning the staff over. i like the place but it does trend to the 40+ providers. with the lights off i don't really care but hey, if they're gonna raise the prices...
