Sorry to see that happen, very unusual indeed. I've never experienced the swap or handoff at Golden spa before. Perhaps she had to attend to someone with an appointment. Any idea, who else works there besides for Lucy?

Basic menu - no extras other than UTC roaming, YMMV with each provider. But very clean setup, decent parking, reliable, etc. When I need a great massage with standard service Golden (and River Green in Montclair, 205 in Saddle Brooke) is on my list.

Thanks Rottie, Ive been to 205 and had a nice time. The location was a pain for me though and parking was unclear. You almost never see 205 mentioned anywhere. I only knew about it because of a rub maps listing i saw three years ago.

I've reviewed it back in December 2020. Jenny is a very nice provider there. Another monger on this site recommended the spot and it's solid. Parking was annoying though, true.

I went there yesterday.. because of this thread. I called ahead. I told her 15 minutes and she told me Sunny was available. I asked for Lucy but Lucy wasnt there. Anyway I was coming from fair lawn and it took me closer to twenty minutes. When I got there, I clled to ask exact location (I pulled into 501 river drive the lot next to kuiken lumber) and she told me now it was half hour. She gave my spot up. I was pissed and left. 40 minuted round trip for nada.

Golden is nice. I always do walkin. I've gotten Lucy, Jenny (I think) and Sunny. All are nice. Sunny my goto.

Yeah I agree, my trip there in January left me feeling real nostalgic for the pre-covid days. The massage wasn't that good & the rest felt mechanical.
