I'm sorry, you paid for a half hour, you should get a half hour. That has happened to me in the past there. Which is why I went elsewhere.
2 weeks ago, I called and made an appointment I got there only to find the backdoor open and 2 of the ladies walking around the parking lot. They didn't look happy either. I didn't want to cut into their union breaktime so I waited until they walked back inside. When I got to the door, I was informed that they were going to lunch. Something was going on and I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I think you handled the tip situation well. She shorted you time that you paid. I hope the client that she dumped you for, compensated her well and made it worth her effort.
