That’s one way to look at it! However, in the room with the spa girl, she knows that the little head will be frustrated by the time she asks for the tip. That is the difference in the transaction from a meal at Olive Garden. At Olive Garden little head is not getting frustrated!

These girls do talk amongst themselves. They know who the tippers are and who the cheap ones are. Good tippers get good service without all the negotiations.

I guess the takeaway is that she had a bad approach and didn't handle the whole process well in my opinion
