I got the same treatment on my one and only visit. MMS is clearly the key-master and I think her trust takes time to earn. Perhaps wearing a kippah would help but it might look suspicious on top of my Asian head.

I've had success with her, treating her like my own Asian grandma. A couple years ago, first time she was brash which I get to protect herself and the business, but I brought a bottle of soju around Christmas time and she never gave me an issue since. I don't visit as often but I wouldn't mind going just for the massage.

Mamasan runs a very tight ship here. I remember the first time I called to make an appointment for a massage she yelled into the phone "no table shower here!" She obviously wanted to make it very clear what kind of place she was running. Once I got there however she was fine and when I became a regular she always smiled and said hi. She just needs a bit of time to warm up. As long as you're nice to the girls and don't expect or demand extra services you'll be fine.

I went a few years ago. Mamasan was ok with me but my provider was paranoid. She was hesitant to take any close off and kept lookg at the door and didn't want to make too much noise. I calmed her down but she was still nervous. Yes she must run a tight shop. I'd go back though.
