As a Passaic regular I always wonder how the other hot spots fare. I have Edgewater experience but never the Butler or Newfoundland places...this is good intel since you compared it directly to Passaic. Thank you.

I have found the Passaic places to be factories - the talent can be good, but we are just numbers. The butler and newfoundland places have more character, we are treated better and generally have decent to good talent.

Interesting take - do you think it's worth the drive if you're near Passaic, then?

I have been to Passaic many times in the past and have stopped going because it is just too damn mechanical for my tastes. They have more options, but since bbbj is not my thing, that's not a selling point for me. Ironically, I was near passaic late last week and stopped in at New Happy. Got a decent provider and had a decent time, but was so rushed I really regretted it. I know there are many who love passaic, but I can relax more in other places and that's a big part of what the experience is about for me.

In Passaic, I have had good experiences and bad ones. It is possible that the post-pandemic rush has made them more mechanical. That said, nothing is more mechanical than Sunset Park in Brooklyn, but on the flip side you are in and out for 1.

Wonder if anyone here can draw a comparison with the Plainfield area.
