As much as it sucks for people who can’t get in, the truth is that SKS doesn’t need your business. Their roster has no problem filling out their calendars
Mongers don't get it's not like a regular above board business. It's more like a drug dealer who can sell all his drugs to repeat customers, and is afraid any new customer is trouble.
Fully booked orgs and providers are safest with known repeat clients to the org. New customers are more likely trouble.
There are different org business models.
Orgs like SA or Mrs. Alpaca don't worry about reputation, I think are OK with new clients who get hooked by pictures or have a 1 or 2 stars, so when they aren't available, the PO gets the monger to try a provider who isn't reviewed. Even if the monger never goes back, there are enough one and done mongers, to stay busy. This is like a used car dealer, who doesn't care about reputation since you will probably never buy from them again.
Orgs like SKS and LSC rely on repeaters, and provide good looks or good service.
