actually it is back with US reviews, just checked
I just googled and yup… there it was. But… Is there something fishy? I did not register… just did a search for a particular provider… Saw she had reviews that were post shut down of TER in the USA… And actually saw she had one from me....which was surprising since I never reviewed her on TER and it was not my TER screen name but my screen name from another site. I was not able to actually view the review details without going through the sign-up process so can’t confirm is was my actual review from another site but something doesn’t seem right here. By the way… Any former TER members ever get a refund for their annual subscription when they suddenly went off-line? I did not. And had probably half of year’s prepaid subscription remaining. Off-topic… more than a month ago I suddenly was not able to login to this site with any device from my former location. I tried obviously to reboot the router and three different computers and three different phones and none will allow ampreviews to load. I absolutely hate to do any of this on my phone and this have been off the radar for sometime but if any techies can offer thoughts, would be appreciated. Not having difficulty with loading any other site. As soon as I get out of range of my router and in an area where I can get cell service… I am in a mountainous area… I suddenly am able to load the site on my phone or computer with hotspot

I would urge everyone to show some restraint.

Very possible that the owner relaunched the site with some intention of getting members to reactivate their subscriptions ($$$) before shutting down without notice again. Not saying this is the case, just that it could be. I know that I lost months worth of subscription with the shutdown without any refund. So this guy obviously doesn't care of doing right by his user base.

I'd try post a review for the credits or wait at least a month or two before paying for membership. It doesn't hurt to wait.

Hypothetically

I wrote them yesterday noting that before the shutdown they had promised to credit VIP time owed to paid subscribers if and when they reopened access in the U.S. They responded today and credited me 90 days. I don't recall exactly what I was owed, but I was cool with that.

No, but a lot of those laws are unenforceable bullshit and the dust has settled.
Also they have to make money somehow and they are not very popular overseas. Case in point go,on there and look at how little activity (reviews discussion) there was over the last 18 months. That site is non factor outside of the US.

That is probably true. Outside of the US the sex industry is very open, standardized and highly competitive. Probably no need for site like TER

Here are some troubleshooting ideas. Could be a DNS issue. Use NSlookup which is a tool which tells you what IP address is supplied to reach this site when you offer www.ampreviews.net as the URL in your browser. Traceroute (or tracert) is a tool to check the pathway to server for interruptions or significant delays. These tools run from command prompt. Lastly, delete all the caches on your device for browser and temp files. If not techie, sorry, hope it goes away.

Same experience...I contacts customer service, and they restored my VIP status based on the days I had left when they went dark in US.

I did the same, except it's been so long I couldn't recall how much I had left. I suspect less than a month but they gave me credit for two.
