I think that when the pandemic over, things will probably just go back to more or less the way they were. But I think as things begin to open while the pandemic is still with us, prices might go up based the fact that there is more risk coupled with less providers. I’m sure they’ll be happy just to work but will want more to compensate for those things
So far my experience right now is this. Many places have turn to Asian customers only. Probably temporarily but who knows. They are also asking for more money because pandemic. Also many require mask (may be the reason why they only deal with Asians since they comply).
I think when the pandemic goes away (probably due to vaccine or herd immunity) things will get back to normal. However I think permanent damage was done to this industry.
As far as new girls going in to this business is false both in America and China. Contrary to popular belief, most (Asian) providers here are not doing this because they need to put food on table. Its because they are greedy or lazy. Unless they have debt, most can quit any time. I suspect fewer providers will want to come to America in the future.

I know three providers I had a great relationship with moved back to China before the pandemic hit hard and dont plan on returning ever again. so there's truth to that.
Visited one spa and one fasthouse this week, did not partake in services, was just decent friends with the managers and went to smoke and be racist with them. But it was weird. the spa girl was like super cautious and fearful, gloves and mask, she should not be working with that attitude (fuck none of them should). Price was also up a Jackson or two. Fasthouse girl was a little more calm, but was told they wear mask throughout as well.
Despite this, both places were disgustingly busy lol so fuck yall. Wave 2 is coming.
As for if this is the norm, probably not. This pertains to brooklyn only. Once we get a vaccine it will return to normal (and thats another year away). I think prices will continue to rise as they always have. Women will remain a mixed bag of mostly trash. GFE probably gone for good. Masks during flu season. Many groups shuttered and gone for good.
