I fully realize how times have changed. The need for privacy increases as big brother starts to monitor and. possibly penalize, what goes on in our forums. However, I enjoyed the time where The Big Dog was a free site and information was freely exchanged between hobbyists. We had a Yahoo Pa Massage group ( I ran it for a while) where we helped a lot of newbies find the best places for massage and more. All this changed as TBD decided to charge for reviews, Yahoo shut down the groups and people refused to post reviews which they couldn't read. Hey, I understand the profit motive. I run a couple businesses myself but this really excludes a lot of potential future contributors.

So, IMO, Amp Reviews is about all that's left of free sites where we can exchange information. I think it's going to be a shame if we start to see it drift toward being a site where we have to pay to see private details and move all the information to private threads. Just like TBD, it will be a slow, silent death. Further, I don't see how allowing mongers to pay to see private details is contributing to security as, certainly, LE can afford to pay to see them too.

Well, JMHO. Stay safe!

Yeah I do not get the secrecy either. Not hard for le to post a fake review and/or buy access. Truth is most places that get nabbed (high) percent especially in cities get nabbed either by pissed off neighbors or coming out of Routine inspection. Not from what is posted here

That's certainly how it has traditionally been. LE made very little effort to pursue MPs unless there was a complaint. In fact, I'm sure some LE enjoyed visiting here and there. Now, everything is "human trafficking" which is total BS but there is more of a push to put a stop to it.
