I dunno dude you're bent on insulting me or my post for some reason, but there shouldn't be any really. So seems like some people do have their egos or what not in this, all i'm saying is, not worth the risk to do that. I don't care that you do that, but you're a liability from my perspective.
You're a confused boy. Gotcha, just disregarded what I said to comment on nothing smh. Ima do this though me being perplexed by you adds nothing to this thread. I will try and not respond to you anymore on this thread. Keep at it.

Lmaooooo you are talking about sensitive!! People are just asking questions. I have yet to see anyone cry foul that private details cannot be discussed nor quoted smh.

You definitely have a strange way of viewing things.
Mt suggestion is why don't you have a civil private conversation with TopJimmy instead of puffing out your chest acting like an asshole, Maybe then you can come to an understanding of the issue. When you call people out in public what do you ever except other than a fuck you.

Sorry for being a little blunt, this thread has gone on long enough

Read carefully, to avoid the possibility of losing your membership here.

The content posted in the Private Details section within every review, as well as any information shared inside one of our many new Private Access forums is sacred. This means the author of such content intended it to be privately shared among members with Private Access ONLY.

As a member here, you accept the shared responsibility of keeping that information sacred.

In other words, you will lose your membership if you ever reveal the contents of private details or a Private Forum to non-private access members. Even if you do so by accident. There will be a zero tolerance policy applied to enforcement of this guideline. In other words, it doesn’t matter who you are, how long you’ve been here, how many posts or reviews you have, or whether you did it maliciously or unintentionally....you do it, you’re gone. Period.

Avoid making this mistake in your posts.

Especially avoid using QUOTE in your posts. If you quote something, keep in mind that you might be quoting something in private details only to make it visible to the general public in your public reply. You do that, you’re gone.

Avoid asking questions about something someone posted in the private details. Avoid referencing something someone posted in the private details. In both cases, you may be revealing something indirectly . And even in that case, you’re gone.

Members take note! If you see this happen out there in the forums, REPORT IT. We have several mods now and more importantly than just banning the offending member, we have to clean up the thread.

Although we avoid ever editing the content posted by our members in posts or reviews, this is an exception. You can bet your bottom dollar that we will edit a post to protect private information that some idiot negligently revealed.

AMPReviews members, thanks for your understanding. Please help us to implement and enforce this guideline. The best forums on the net are the ones that are self-monitored and policed by the members.

Hey TJ - This all makes crystal clear sense, but unless this policy is made more prominent on the site (e.g., a persistent banner in the private access area), I foresee newer members unintentionally making the faux pas quite often. Maybe you will conclude that it's not your problem, but if you think about this in terms of increasing adoption and usage, banning members for what in many cases my be chalked up to their ignorance, or a mindless mistake, is a bit counter-intuitive to what should be a reasonable business goal.

Also - I would like to start dropping my reviews in the private access section. Will the reviews still be credited from there?

I’m saying that revealing private content is a violation that will result in loss of posting privileges. If someone wishes to avoid that from happening, then they should exercise caution when posting that they are not revealing details that were posted privately.

If being off this site permanently is someone’s desire, there are far more easy ways to accomplish. Simply ask, and your wish is my command.

I do not want ANYONE here that does not wish to be here. However, for those who DO wish to be here, you’ve made yourselves heard loud and clear that staff protecting which has been posted in the private details is and will remain of the utmost concern. The staff’s stance on this going forward can be viewed as a display of our commitment to give our vast majority of contributing members what they’ve asked for: a site that values it’s members input and helps to protect what its members feel is better left said “behind closed doors”
Hi TJ,

I’m requesting to be permanently off the site. Please deactivate/remove/delete my account.

Not trying to be an ass by posting this here...I just had already reached out via PM and Contact Us feature but hadn’t heard back so thought I may as well respond here.

Thanks.

You're hilarious. I already understood once TopJimmy explained to me in a civil matter in the beginning of the thread. Me going back and forth with gk has nothing to do with the new rule in this thread. Hence why I told him I'm not going to respond to him anymore. Perhaps read the comments before commenting. I will not respond to you either on this thread about things that don't pertain to this thread.

TopJimmy aint fooking around, private quote tags such as Eccie.net utilizes would solve the problem of a guy making mention of private details or asking dumb questions.
Freddy those are already in the works. Coming soon sir. The only problem is that the douchebags who persistently push the envelope and reveal remarks others ask to be kept private would actually have to use the private tags for it to solve the problem. I’m assuming you are giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Koondog, I have an idea for you. You should go see if koondog.com is available. If it is, buy it quick before it’s taken! Then you can build your own site and persuade the entire AR membership to leave this site where the admin is a dickhead and come over to share on your site where it’s okay to reveal the unimportant details that other people place in the private sections. It’s bound to be a huge WIN for you bud!

I’ll finish with this. I’ve listened to criticism about this site since day 1. Been as gracious as I can be. Spent my hard earned money to make this site what the members want it to be. Will continue to do so, and will continue to appreciate my member’s remarks.

Koondog, you crossed over into different territory. Instead of constructive criticism, you resorted to sarcasm and name-calling. I’m done with you. I’m pretty close to shutting you down and requiring you provide a photo ID to allow you to continue once I can verify you are at least 18 years of age. My teenage children use a lot of name calling too.

So, from here on out, I’m going to treat you like a teenaged child. You have one option. A sincere apology. Not a sarcasm-laced bullshit reply. A sincere apology. You’re gonna find out the hard way that when you thought you’d be cool and try to lock horns with the admin around here you were making a big mistake. I’m giving you a lifeline. You can be an adult and use it, or you can keep on with your bullshit and your future around here is bleak.

I told y’all, TJ ain’t fooking around, at least look at his efforts and those of other admin to make this site safe or safer since many voiced concern about private details being compromised. It’s rather simple as I see it, read the reviews and glean what you will from it, use the open forums to express thoughts, ideas and concerns, utilize PMs to get more details, this is a good deal, more so than other sites. Just my two cents.

I read the thread, guys were concerned, requests were made or suggested, TJ delivered within the site parameters, now guys are still complaining, when I read certain guys comments, mostly negative comments, it gives me a good idea how their session with a provider goes, lackluster, that is, not because of the provider, but because of the Hobbyist, it’s a tough industry to work in, make the most of your hard earned money or bounce beforehand.

I grew up being taught, if you can't do it better, stay quiet. Think that really applies in a situation like this all things considered...

Freddy this Xenforo platform is starkly different than the vBulletin platform that the ECCIE folks use, so trying to mimic a feature from ECCIE is a bit complex, but not out of reach.

Here’s the thought....

Our posts would have the typical reply button but we would add a new button called “Reply with Privacy”

When Reply with Privacy is selected the member can safely make a post that will only be displayed to members with Private Detail access.

You could also make a Private post if you were starting a new thread and the contents would be private.

You could also use the Privacy button inside the post interface to render a portion of your post private while allowing a portion you select to be viewable to the public

The poster who just wrote
Review: Nixi Moon - Independent BBW

Just posted the link that was in private details. Isn’t that a bannable offense?

Just making sure I have an actual example correct.
