The rate is 1400.00 per hour.
Too much? Or is this normal for pornstars.

The Kingo is right on. The industry has changed dramatically with few studios left to finance high budget shoots. About 5 years ago I saw ads for Lucy Thai in Philly at $400 and Asia in Atlanta at around the same price. The industry still has certain racial rules so white gals are generally paid the most in the industry and this will spill into the escort pricing. Outside of the handful of Asian megastars like Asa Akira, most Asian gals who came into the industry around the tail end of the DVD era, probably have little pull on the porn star agency circuit. 80% of my porn collection is Asian -- I'd rather see Mia Rider or Bella Ling for $500 than Stormy Daniels for $250 but Mia and Bella are totally my type, Stormy is totally not (never even heard of her until the Trump thing). However, assuming that an agency had both of them, Mia would be a bargain gal (though IMHO still overpriced). Since we "Asian Babe Lovers" are a niche in the overall market, you might be able to score a deal with an Asian star who has 15-20 pro titles under her belt but then started to have trouble booking pro-paying shoots.

I get the allure and fascination of having a session with a porn star but as many have said the experience is usually an overpriced one. To each his own, but before throwing down $1,500-$2,500 for an hour to bust a nut or two consider:

1. Is [INSERT NAME OF STAR HERE] truly that much prettier, hotter, etc. than [INSERT NAME OF YOUR LOCAL ATF]? The camera, editing/post-production touch ups, and professional make up will all add to that dream appearance but in person, she may be slightly "more regular" looking;

2. Am I really going to get that same ridiculously sloppy BJ and face fuck like in "Head Nurses 10 -- Asian Edition?" Remember, these gals are paid to make the scene as hot as possible, knowing that a hot scene will get her both more porn and escort work. Additionally, these days gals usually shoot with guys that turn them on. If you're not her type, is she really going worship your dick like the ones on camera?

3. Spending that money on your ATF for an overnight, a multi-hour session, or an hour, daily, for a week will likely give you better sessions down the road, maybe even a freebie or two.

I think it really depends on how much you want to live out your fantasy. I was able to see Minka recently and it was one hell of an experience. She had been my favorite pornstar since I was a kid so seeing the legend was amazing. I'll be honest, her rack was amazing but not amazing enough to warrant that crazy pricetag for her. It was definitely a one time thing. I lived out my fantasy, but I'd be lying to myself if I said she was better experience than going to X amount of spas and seeing ATFs instead.

Yes it does sound ridiculous, but I have to say the experience with PS are different. The stories I know from the AMP world are those of girls who are there for necessity and some truly difficult background. That is a lot different from PS who chose that career for interest and outright sexual charge. Also consider the legal differences between the two careers. Then there is the the regiment schedule of the AMPs vs. shooting scenes how many times a week? It's 2 different worlds and the experience is a lot different.

I've had two different porn star experiences. One was with Cumisha Amado. She was one of the very first porn stars that just floored me. Certainly spilled a lot of juice watching her movies. When I first saw that she was available through an agency, I contacted her directly (we're talking 2006 BTW). She was friendly and told me that it would be a lot less expensive to see her in LA "privately" rather than through the agency. So about a year later I was in LA on business and figured that I'd do a booking while out there. It was pleasant all-in-all but also a little sad. Admittedly, she was retired from shooting regularly, though she was doing a quasi-comback. We just talked for a good 30 minutes; she showed me pictures of her family union/vacation that she had recently taken, etc. It was almost like she thought that I was an interviewer with the amount talking she was doing about her career, etc.

When it came to the meat and potatoes, we showered together, with some head in the shower and then into the bedroom. She kept the lights low and put on a video of one of her movies in her prime. After we finished more chit-chat -- I think that she would have allowed me to stay another hour without additional cash but I had a plane to catch. But the session itself was more or less like any other MILF. I'm glad I did it but I wouldn't say that it was anything special. Maybe if I went with someone younger and current, it would have been something special but at the end of the day, busting a nut, is busting a nut.

My other porn experience was on the working side in that I did about 18 pro am shoots. The biggest name I shot with was Aaralyn Barra. Again, nothing really special and her my-shit-don't-stink attitude was a little annoying. Ultimately, like with regular AMP gals, YMMV. I'm sure that there are stars that would be a great time....just like some AMP gals are.

But seriously, I think the most recent videos of her I've seen are 5 years old, and she was looking pretty GILFy already. She's gotta be at least 55, right? Does she look OK in person?
