Let's not get silly here. They are only doing their jobs. I feel 2 adults can choose to do whatever they want with each other for whatever they agree is a mutually beneficial arrangement that is NOT the job of Uncle Leo. They don't make the laws. There is no reason smart reasons to create extra insensitive for trouble.
It is ironic how they will justify this like they are saving these hard working ladies but they will report the cash they "seized". Wait a freaking second, it sounds like to me they stole the money from these hard working ladies. Strange world we live in. Saving them by taking their money and throwing them in jail. With friends like this...
Not sure the laws are setup to actually help anyone but only to shame the works and are set up for a cash grab. Seems like legalizing and regulating would make much more sense. But the local LE again isn't involved with these decisions, they are only doing their jobs and the likely hood of getting shot during an AMP bust is rather low vs going after high level drug dealers. Priorities just seem to be so very backwards.

There is so much crime that needs to be stopped but LE focuses on AMPs. People have packages stolen from their front porch, take video to LE, and LE says under $5000 so we cannot do anything about it even though you have video of people taking the package. Drug infestation in Kensington, everyone double parked in center city, drive by gang shootings, the list goes on and on, but they shut down AMPs that serve the public. Priorities need to change but I am not a politician.
My buddy works in the 6th- no record whatsoever of that happening this week. Vice in Philly are all plainclothes anyway except uniform to transfer and the new DA just let someone off for shooting an Asian buisinessowner with an AK47 for 3 years. You think he's locking up massage parlors? Cops could care less about Johns anyway except for the ones using streetwalkers.
