The two Virginia buildings that the sex ring was using as brothels were
* Avalon Mosaic Apartments (2985 District Avenue, Unit 245, Fairfax, Virginia, 22031 ) in Fairfax
* Hanover Tysons luxury apartments (1500 Westbranch Drive, Unit 649, Tysons, Virginia 22102) in Tysons

where the rent reached over $3,600.

The agency was one advertising professional nude and semi-nude photoshoots.

Try not to lose sleep about it.

The investigation started in Massachusetts, was done by the feds, and focused on interstate federal trafficking laws.

Instances of solicitation are governed by state law, so charges would come from Fairfax County.

The list of customers is in the hundreds, but Fairfax County processed less than 10 commercial sex act crimes in 2022 and 2023 combined.

Individually pursuing hundreds of men for nonviolent misdemeanors based on text messages likely insn't a priority.

Not to say it's impossible, just trying to put the risk in perspective.

According to the article "The buyers allegedly had to complete a form providing their full names, email address, phone number, employer and references if they had one to be eligible for an appointment, according to the charging documents." What kind of idiot would give them this kind of personal info? It is a good thing the places that I go to NYC don't ask for this kind of stuff. I've had a few times when they want to verify you is looking at your driver's license. The only thing that they want to know is your phone number, which should be a burner phone number.
