No offense but trying to negotiate for $20 off the $300 price doesn’t present a good optic of yourself. If she was a well known and reviewed quantity and she wants 500 and you said 350 or 4 that would be an acceptable negotiation in my book.

I was not negotiating - it’s was the cash I had on hand and I wasn’t leaving house to get $20 bucks. And I didn’t want to short her on arrival as that would be a poorer optic.

Next paragraph in your book say they will meet ya in the middle?

That would be an insult to a well reviewed provider, like telling her she ain’t worth her wage. Unless you are expecting sub par performance.
