Anyone pausing due to CV?

I see it's spiking in NJ again, and death rates are also inching up. A few friends passed away from Covid in May and I have pre-existing conditions (HBP, diabetes etc). Regardless of politics I am going to stay safe and pause a bit until we get this under control again.

I have been lucky in my 20 years of hobby, numerous DFK and BBBJ, occasional CIP and CIA. I think I'll sit this out the next few months until things are stabilized.

I've sat out for many months, have gone to a few places recently but with some hesitation and an abundance of caution. Cases def are spiking again, and I won't be surprised to see King Murphy do some types of shutdowns again soon

Yeah your right, just shut everything down. Destroy the rest of the small businesses remaining. If your concerned with the “exploding” rates then stay home. Make it easier for the rest of us to enjoy some time with our favorite amp ladies. I’m sure with the election over, the numbers will begin to decline

Unfortunately, there are some people don't want to follow guidance of the medical and science experts. As for me, I brush my teeth, use mouthwash and shower before going for massage. I keep my mask on during the massage. When I come back home, I shower. Mind you, I don't need to brush my teeth again and use mouthwash again because I had my mask on during my massage. Let's be safe out there.

Just a quick thanks to those that shared opinions/plans. I’m on the fence and seeing your comments has made me take a step back and reconsider where I stand. Thinking I’ll lean towards the safe end.

It is definitely a risk partaking in these activities. I have started going to parlors more (asian) and have not seen any Indys recently due to lack of ads and fearing they are not taking precautionary measures. I would definitely enjoy seeing some Latina indys again! Hope everything goes back to normal

It would seem wise and prudent to pause. Easier said than done. MMSs have mentioned they fear many of their older customers didn’t make it. They have sent texts and called trying to get their business back up. They found phone lines are dead and no answers to their texts. I pressed for more information on how many and general health and they clammed up, realizing they told me too much already. Subject was quickly changed and not revisited. The health of you and your family is of paramount importance.

As Cuomo said, “Losing money hurts, but losing a loved one lasts forever.”

Asymptomatic spread is something to always be aware of.

I am certainly slowing down in light of the almost 10x infection rate in NY/NJ area compared to June-Sept months.

I plan on being safe and the damn virus has put a crimp in my ability to get by, let alone partake of this hobby. The government should inform and the people should decide on their own. People aren't being as cautious as they were before so we see the results. Now i need the Government to take care of me. Staying in or going out should be your option.
