Aruba - escort agency or independent

Planning a few days in Aruba for next month. Did some research and all that’s out there are escort agencies. Seem legit but wanted to open a thread to see if anyone recently travelled there and what it’s like.
Better to try agency for outcall or are there resources for independent? Thanks for the responses!

It has been a few years since my last trip to Aruba. There are really two options,

1.) Saint Nicolaas (SN) at the far end of the island
2.) Escorts that come to your hotel.

SN is the red-light district (really a few blocks) at the south-east tip of the island. It is basically a collection of bars which have girls from Colombia on 3-month work visas. Each bar has anywhere from 2-4 girls that range from 5/6s to 8/9s. The cost is around $50/60 for standard service (cbj and cfs), plus if you go in the evening you normally have to buy a few drinks as well. Both the quality and number of girls has declined since the oil refinery closed down but I have no idea how it is currently.

The escort agencies are legit but they aren't bargain price. You are looking at $160-$200 but they come right to your room. The girls are mostly Venezuelan and the service can be really great. I had a few really great experiences. If you don't have a rental car this is your best option.

I’m heading out in August. Made sure to hold a car for rental in order to head down to Saint Nich. Did you wind up going yourself?

This info is still accurate. San Nicolas can be hit or miss. The agencies are $200+, but it's more convenient if you don't mind someone coming to your room. If you are going to be down there for a few days or more, I feel it's worth renting a car so you don't have to rely on taxis all of the time. Let us know what you find!

From what I've researched, it's best to converter your cash and pay in local currency. Apparently the price is $30-$40 which seems more aligned with what it should be for Venezuelans on 90 day visas. The outcall to hotels will definitely rely and charge $200-$300. I'll keep you guys posted mid August!

My last visit to Aruba was in 2019 but the other fellows here have given you most of the info. I recommend renting a car either from the airport or at your hotel and driving around yourself. It’s a small island so getting around doesn’t take long. I stayed at the Marriott Ocean Club last time, which is more family oriented so I asked to meet the agency girl at a nearby bar and we walked in together to avoid any difficulties with the hotel staff. While chatting with the bartender at the pool he says they know what goes on and don’t really get involved, but they don’t want to draw any unwanted attention either. You should try your best to do the same when you’re in a foreign country.

Fully agree. Try to be stealthy about it and not draw attention yourself at all. Meeting at the bar is a good idea. If you can, tell her not to dress flashy Nothing says working girl like a single lady, short skirt and excessive high heels. There is a time and place for everything, and a nice family oriented hotel is the place for discretion.

Was there for a few days and it’s best to research some ads before going. They usually all use what’s app. If you filter through the agencies you can find an Indy. Most know short stay spots if you don’t want to bring them back home. In my experience they were clean and friendly.

The escort services are listed in the daily newspaper that comes out, and some have websites. They will come to your room, from what I recall the hourly rate was roughly 0.2. You can get photos of the girls sent to your phone. YamYum was one I used previously. Nice guy, aims to make sure your happy. I've been to Aruba close to 20 times, great place.

A lot of working girls are around the Mill and Gusto. Not sure if you're comfortable approaching but you can tell who is working and approach them. Best part about this is you see them in person rather than pictures. Been to Aruba so much I'm friends with locals so we go to local non tourist bars in Oranjestad, won't recommend unless you're bilingual and with someone.

It will be hard if you don't speak Spanish, I'm bilingual so it was easy. St. Nicholas is dangerous if you go at night. Went in October last year and hobbied twice the othe 3 times were one nighters. One Dutch blonde visiting, a tourist from Chicago and a black girl from Indiana. The agencies are outcall tho and one pop.

This is the first time I’ve heard someone call St Nicholas dangerous. Would you say going at night by yourself is a bad idea? My plan is to first try and get real tourist women because I’d imagine it’ll be rather easy. But a late night failsafe to St Nicholas is the backup plan.

What normal spots did you bag the tourists at?

I haven't been to Aruba since 2019, so can't comment on SN in 2023, but from my years of going there 2005-2019 I wouldn't call SN dangerous. It isn't a nice area and there are some sketchy looking characters and homeless loitering around but I have never heard of anyone being seriously harmed in SN. Not to say it hasn't happened at some point but if it were really dangerous I would think you would hear more about it from locals, etc. I would recommend you lock up your rental car, keep all valuables in the car out of sight and if you have a friend to go with that would probably be better then going alone.

Like in most places be street smart, local friends told me knife robbery do happen. If you're going to SN go in a group and by car.

The beach, La Oficina, Gusto, Sandbar, south beach, the Mill. With tourist it's a hit or miss. In 2019, I did go on a tinder date with a girl from Seattle. No sex but it wasn't bad.
